Key Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Able to provide 1 - 2 - 1 support
* Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school
* Ability to support students and encourage their progression
* Strong and professional communication with parents
* Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively
Requirements of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Recent experience working in a primary school or with school-aged children
* A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable
* Previous SEND experience is essential
* Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in different educational settings.
