At Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT), we deliver a wide range of physical, mental health, learning disability, and autism services, and are proud to serve communities across Coventry, Warwickshire, and beyond. We put ‘people at our heart’; this ethos is at the centre of everything we do and how we do it. We care for our staff and colleagues as much as they care for others and offer a wide range of benefits and development opportunities.
These include:
1. Generous annual leave entitlement which increases during your time with us
2. Excellent learning and development opportunities, including apprenticeship frameworks, distance learning, internal training, coaching, and mentoring
3. Salary sacrifice schemes for lease car/vehicle, Cycle to Work, home and electronics, gym membership, and more
4. Discounts with a range of retailers, restaurants, and entertainment venues through our Employee Assistance Programme and NHS discount schemes
5. Wellbeing support, including an in-house counselling service, external helpline, and more
6. Staff networks and support groups
We’re always on the lookout for people who share our passion for improving the lives and wellbeing of people in our community, as well as our values of compassion, collaboration, excellence, integrity, and respect.
As a team, we work systemically to understand and support the significant impact and challenges experienced by children and adults with autism who are in mental health crisis, and their families. In order to do this, we work with the network around the child/young person (e.g., RISE, Adult Mental Health, Social Care, Education) and work closely with commissioners. As a nurse, you will have experience of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working as you will need to attend and chair regular MDTs, CETRs, and EMDTs.
As a nurse, you would visit individuals at home/school/in appropriate settings multiple times a week to engage them and carry out our assessments and interventions. The nurses currently in the team describe this as the best part of their role, and no day is the same.
This is an exciting time to join our Team as we mature and expand and continue to look for innovative ways to support the families we work with. If you are passionate, motivated, and driven to prevent individuals with autism and mental health issues from being admitted to hospital, then we want to hear from you.
