You will be joining a new, exciting, and fast-moving Insight & Analytics team within the Group Acquisition & Analytics department. Our primary role is to improve the understanding, measurement, and optimisation of new customer acquisition through digital marketing.
As Senior Customer Analyst, you will promote the voice of the customer, always considering how our projects and initiatives impact the customer and discovering what we can do to contribute to, and better recognise their lifetime value. Equally important is your expert comprehension of digital marketing data sources, data processing, and analytics. The business relies on sophisticated A/B testing to choose between important marketing recommendations, and this is another area where you will be integral. In short, we’re looking for a data and analytics superstar with a proven track record of applying those skills effectively in digital marketing.
What skills do we look for in our Senior Customer Analysts

2. High proficiency of how to use and explore data generated by Google Ads, Google Search Console, GA4.
3. Confident in all aspects of Google BigQuery, but particularly crafting complex, multiple CTE queries.
4. Comfortable with sophisticated A/B testing, from quick tactical tests, to developing extensive frameworks for larger-scale marketing conclusions.
5. Power BI expertise (including DAX, time intelligence, complex data models, parameter fields, scheduling, and working with multiple source types).
6. Comfortable sorting through huge quantities of data to find the nuggets that will really matter to the business.
7. Experienced in writing R/Python, and SQL scripts from scratch.
8. Educated to degree level in a relevant mathematical or adjacent discipline.
Ideal additional skills:
1. Able to navigate a large, multinational organisation, with a view to maximise collaboration, minimise duplication, and improve practices wherever possible.
2. Machine learning including application to customer segmentation.
3. Experience building data pipelines. Although this is not an Engineering role, a working knowledge of the formal pipeline process is valuable.
4. Familiar with sourcing and processing Google Reviews and NPS data.
5. Practical Google Tag Manager knowledge.
6. Experience in working in a subscription-based or e-commerce service business is advantageous but not essential.
