The Board of Trustees of Better Lives Partnership is recruiting an Outreach and Employability Support Worker for the Outreach and Transitions Programme.
Better Lives Partnership has secured funding to employ an Outreach and Employability Support Worker:
1. To support the Team Officer in delivering an operational service for the Outreach and Transitions Project; this may take the form of supporting in classes, creating resources, and planning and delivering sessions and courses.
2. Manage transition plans for young people who have identified Better Lives Partnership as a positive destination.
3. To offer ongoing one-to-one guidance and support to ensure progression is sustained and ensuring transitional arrangements are appropriate to each individual.
4. To deliver outreach sessions within hubs and schools in Wigtownshire.
5. To work in partnership to provide further support, advice, and assistance to respond positively to the needs of individual clients.
6. To provide curricular support, personal support, and supervision for young people. To moderate and deliver accredited courses.
7. To represent Better Lives Partnership at events and meetings to ensure that all stakeholders have a good understanding of the Outreach and Transitions Programme.
