Venture Recruitment Partners are pleased to be supporting an Engineering business, based in Portsmouth, in their search for a Finance Manager on a 12-month FTC to cover a period of maternity leave in the team.Remote working with occasional visits to sites across the South.Key Responsibilities include:
* Production of timely and accurate contract/site accounts, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans including variance analysis
* Production of timely and technically accurate contract/site based budget, forecast and strategic plan reports and presentations for the Finance Director including liaison with contract/site stakeholders.
* Business Partner with the operational teams holding them to account with their forecasts and budgets
* Support the operational teams with analysis and insight
* Providing and managing any contractual financial information e.g. any finance information to be provided as part of contractual reporting to customer such as quarterly reports, gain share submissions etc.
* Produce monthly management accounts including site commentaries
* Provide support to the contracts for projects and pricing
* Provide financial support to achieve key performance measurement and efficiency targets
Key Skills and Experience include:
1. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA/CIMA) or QBE
2. Ability to understand and manipulate data to present clear and concise financial messages for review.
