ESM Prep UK is seeking experienced part-time course instructors to lead SAT/ACT admissions test preparation.
The role involves teaching group courses, as well as one-on-one tutoring, both in person in London and online.
Ideally, candidates will have classroom experience and be available to deliver group sessions in the autumn.

1. Job Description Mentors will assist students one-on-one, and in group class settings, in preparing for US colleges and universities by readying them for the ACT and SAT exams and potentially other academic subjects, as well. We call our tutors Academic Mentors because we prioritise the holistic development of each of our students.
All applicants should be passionate about working with youth and should have previous experience in private tuition, teaching, and/or coaching.
All our mentors are employees, not contractors.
2. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree Prior experience teaching ACT/SAT is preferred.
A past score or a score from a diagnostic test taken during the application process will be required to ensure sufficient expertise to teach the test at the highest level (note that successful applicants will receive further training at the start of employment) Must be able to tutor in person in London or virtually at least 3 to 4 times a week Additional expertise in tutoring multiple high school subjects–especially maths, computer science, and physics–is a plus!
Available part-time.
Tutoring usually occurs on weekday evenings (after 3 pm) and/or at weekends.
Typical work timetable is Sunday-Thursday.
3. Although the majority of the work is online, you must be available for in-person tutoring in students' homes or in our offices in Marylebone, London UK Available to teach 2 or more of our school courses at our partner schools in London and the home counties, as well as 1-2 online courses. These courses typically run from September through December and are held once a week (8 sessions in total), either online or in person at the school .
Availability for, and willingness to travel to, in-person courses is required, particularly in West London and areas outside London.
Additionally, availability to teach a school course on weekends is required.
