We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Senior Civil Engineering Technician to support the Mission Critical digital transformation strategy by supplementing the existing Mission Critical delivery team with experienced modelling capability.
Our Mission Critical facilities engineering experts bring together global data centre design & engineering experience and unique multi-national technical capability from site acquisition to project completion. Delivering over 20 campuses across the UK and globally in 11 countries, our clients see us as their most committed and reliable partner for cloud facilities worth over EURO20bn.
What does the role involve?
* The creation of 3D models in Civil 3D, drawings in AutoCAD and cache files in Navisworks, including reviewing setup and management of models.
* The setup, management and training of users in the use of the Autodesk Construction Cloud Common Data Environment.
* Ensuring BIM standards and quality of modelled information meets our Clients requirements.
* Working within a team environment under the supervision of senior personnel.
* Providing technical guidance, support and training to colleagues and assist, where practicable, in mentoring and development of others.
* Taking responsibility for the quality of BIM Models and any outputs produced.
To be successful in this role you’ll possess:
* Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
* Autodesk Construction Cloud knowledge is desirable.
* Significant previous experience of the preparation of BIM models including output documentation.
* Experience of federating models and coordination management in a Navisworks environment.
* The ability to communicate in a fluent and positive manner with other team members and to produce reports in plain English.
