We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join our team on a part-time basis (2 days per week). This role will be responsible for executing and maintaining compelling visual merchandising across 5 standalone stores and 2 concessions across London regional areas, ensuring brand consistency and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising Execution & Strategy:
* Execute and support the Head of Wholesale in delivering creative visual merchandising strategies for business as usual, new product launches, store Launches and brand experiences.
* Develop and implement merchandising strategies to optimise product presentation and drive customer engagement.
* Ensure all stores and concessions are visually aligned with brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across all locations.
* Regularly update and refresh visual displays, incorporating seasonal trends, promotional campaigns, and storytelling elements.
* Design and execute window displays, in-store zoning, and focal points to enhance the shopping experience.
* Ensure all POS, signage, and branding materials are correctly placed and up to date.
* Support with Further development of the Visual Merchandising kit, ensuring high functionality and fit with brand guidelines
* Support in creating Visual Merchandising guidelines, which will be used across all doors.
* Present innovative and unique ideas to the creative teams, reinforcing our point of difference and ensuring we stand out from competitors.
Store & Team Collaboration:
* Work closely with store managers and retail teams to ensure flawless execution of VM standards, providing guidance and training where necessary.
* Collaborate with sales teams to create impactful promotional displays and marketing campaigns.
* Provide VM support for key retail activations, pop-ups, and special events.
* Train store staff on effective merchandising techniques and display standards.
* Conduct regular store visits to assess execution, making real-time adjustments to optimise store layouts and product placement.
Performance Analysis & Innovation:
* Analyse sales data and market trends to inform merchandising decisions.
* Monitor competitor merchandise and industry trends to stay competitive and innovative.
* Conduct regular inventory audits to manage stock levels and prevent losses.
* Make data-driven recommendations to improve visual merchandising strategies and enhance the customer journey.
Competencies & Experience
* 2+ years of experience in visual merchandising, ideally within jewellery, fashion, or luxury retail.
* Strong creative vision with the ability to conceptualise, design, and execute visually impactful displays.
* Understanding of retail sales principles and how visual merchandising influences customer behaviour and sales.
* Passion for jewellery and fashion, with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
* Hands-on approach with the ability to install displays, manage props, and execute physical merchandising updates.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently across multiple locations.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or VM planning software is desirable.
* Ability and willingness to travel across London and regional stores as required.
Desirable Experience:
* Experience in jewellery visual merchandising is highly desirable.
* A passion for customer experience enhancement, incorporating VM into interactive and experiential retail experiences.
* Knowledge of sustainable and innovative VM practices.
* Experience working with concession and wholesale retail partners.
* Experience with event or pop-up space planning.
* Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field
