As a Community Care Assistant, you'll provide essential support to customers in their own homes, helping them with daily living tasks and enhancing their quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Deliver compassionate, safe care tailored to each individual’s needs. Respect and protect customers’ dignity, ensuring care is provided with informed consent. Report any changes in the customer’s condition to the line manager. Maintain confidentiality of personal and medical information. Assist with personal care, medication, meals, housekeeping, and more. Encourage and engage customers in social, physical, and mental activities. Accurately record care provided and any changes or emergencies. Role Requirements: Caring, dedicated, and committed to providing anti-discriminatory care. Reliable, self-motivated, and punctual. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team, especially in emergencies. Willingness to undertake initial and ongoing training. Previous experience as a Care Assistant is not required as full training is provided. Experience caring for a friend or family member is advantageous. Relevant care or health qualifications and knowledge of safeguarding procedures are beneficial. What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of £14.00. Flexible shift patterns to suit your needs: Morning Shift: 7am - 3pm Evening Shift: 2pm - 10pm Split Shift: 7am - 2pm, followed by a 2-hour break, then 4pm - 10pm Additional Requirements: Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
