Our Bedroom Furnishings division, BD Living, provides furnishing solutions that will fit in with our customers’ homes perfectly. This team supplies and fits storage and bedroom furniture, from cutting-edge styles to contemporary classics.
Reporting to the Design & Development Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and service level expectations are met through the delivery of fitted and loose bedroom furniture to ensure all BD Living products are delivered throughout the Barratt Group’s operating regions. You will be expected to:
What you'll be doing?
1. Ensure all daily tasks and deliveries are completed to a high standard.
2. Ensure all working processes have been carried out.
3. Ensure BD Living’s products are delivered and stored safely to sites throughout the Group’s regional operating areas.
4. Ensure delivery picking lists are checked and any defects are reported to the department Supervisor.
5. Ensure vehicles are loaded safely in line with operating guidelines.
6. Ensure any vehicle defects, damage, or accidents are reported to the department Manager/Supervisor.
7. Comply with Health & Safety regarding safe systems of work are carried out at both operating base and sites.
8. Comply with all site procedures when delivering and unloading furniture products as per site guidelines.
9. Carry out any other remedial tasks as required.
What you'll need?
1. Strong practical skills essential with good customer focus.
2. Good organisational and communication skills.
3. Possess a positive attitude with the ability to carry out instructions right first time.
4. Awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
5. Possess a CSCS card to the required level.
6. A full UK driving licence, minor points considered.
