Our new PMO Governance Co-Ordinator will support oversight, execution, and improvement of the overall governance of the portfolio of projects that impact Manufacturing to ensure their successful delivery. This includes prioritisation and go vs no-go decision-making, including capital projects and associated budget, to ensure maximum value is delivered to the business. This role supports the Governance Manager by fulfilling these activities, with selected responsibility for project categories and individual activities. This role requires a combination of good business acumen, cross-functional insight, and use of data and influence to drive the right project portfolio decisions for Weetabix. Key tasks include: · Support construction of the portfolio of projects that impact Manufacturing for current and next two financial years based on tactical needs, functional 5-year plans and other strategic needs, and where relevant all against agreed capital budget allocation for project categories. · Support governance of this portfolio, starting with triaging ideas based on an assessment of costs and benefits, prioritising them, then leading them through a structured stage-gate process to ensure adequate cross-functional due diligence, before facilitating the decision to go or no-go. · Administer this portfolio of projects to ensure a single source of truth for all projects and relevant information, including liaison with business project leads to ensure all data and project information are provided accurately. · Support creation and submission of the capital budget for the following financial year in line with Post and Weetabix timelines. · Support development of material for the Capital Steering Meeting to seek spend approval from MD and Executive Leadership Team members for projects above the required thresholds, as well as information on portfolio analysis. · Creation and presentation of reports on portfolio progress and metrics to an audience that includes the Executive Leadership Team. · Work towards integration of projects that do not impact Manufacturing, but which will benefit from application of PMO processes and tools. · Continuously improve and curate the suite of PMO processes and tools to ensure they are up to date and available.
* Direct experience of manufacturing or engineering in an FMCG environment,
* Building relationships and earning trust quickly with cross-functional stakeholders.
* Outstanding organisational skills communication, and influencing skills.
* Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
