If so... the team at Teaching Personnel have the role for you! We are working in collaboration with a mainstream secondary school in Coventry, CV6, to appoint a passionate and experienced PE teacher to work full time.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
Location: Coventry, CV6
Hours: Full time/ Flexible (adjustments can be made for the right applicant)
Rate of Pay: £150-250 (per day, dependent upon qualifications and experiences)
Start Date: ASAP (to commence after Easter holidays)
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCES:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Relevant, recent experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school
- Relevant sports/coaching qualifications
- Genuine passion for sport and developing young peoples abilities
- Experience working with/supporting children with special educational needs
- Understanding of how to adapt lessons to suit the needs of children with special educational needs
- Knowledge and understanding of UK national curriculum for Physical Education
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Leading engaging and exciting PE lessons to a range of age groups and abilities
- Differentiating lessons to suit the individual needs within the class
- Creating an inclusive, positive learning environment where active participation is encouraged and every child feels included
- Assessing pupil progress on a regular basis
- Providing informative feedback for the pupils to help support them in their learning and development
- Collaborating with colleagues within the department
- Communicating effectively with all staff, pupils and parents
- Maintaining a committed stance to safeguarding and upholding the schools policies and procedures at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
