As a full-time Support Worker, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping individuals with complex needs live their best lives. About the Role: Your day will be varied, purposeful, and rewarding—from providing personal care and assisting with daily tasks to supporting health management and encouraging social engagement. At this service, you will be supporting a young male in his 20's with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. This person loves to be active and enjoys going on new adventures. You will encourage him to try new activities, explore hobbies, and enjoy social and community outings. Whether it’s taking a stroll in the park, hopping on a bus to the shopping centre, or supporting him through challenging situations, your role will be impactful, rewarding, and filled with opportunities to make a real difference. You’ll also work within a close-knit, supportive team, collaborating with medical professionals and colleagues to ensure the best care possible. Hours: 2 full time positions available 39 hours per week – flexibility is required (early starts, late finishes, waking nights, sleep-ins, weekends) 8am-3pm 3pm-10pm (sleep) 7am-3pm Shifts can vary depending on the needs of the person you are supporting. Location: This service is located in Southwark, London. Free off street parking is available and the service is situated near a main bus route. About You: We’re looking for a compassionate, patient, and fun individual who thrives in a role where every day is different You’ll bring energy and fun to assist in keep the individual happy and stimulated in day-to-day life. Experience in working with individuals with challenging behaviour, epilepsy, and autism would be a great advantage although, we will train and develop you to become a great support worker.
