Role Overview: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to support the safe and efficient collection of waste materials, including domestic, commercial, recycling, and garden waste. This role is essential in maintaining high-quality waste collection services across the district. Key Responsibilities: Carry out waste collections safely, following health and safety regulations. Assist with kerbside, bulky waste, and commercial collections. Support the driver with vehicle manoeuvres and daily safety checks. Maintain cleanliness of the collection vehicle and report missed collections or hazards. Use safety equipment correctly and ensure waste spills are promptly cleaned. Provide professional and courteous service to the public. Complete necessary documentation and support less experienced team members. Requirements: Flexible working, including weekends, evenings, and Bank Holidays. Physically demanding role requiring frequent mobility. 37-hour work week with varied shift patterns (4- or 5-day schedules).
