The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, as well as being passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring all learners are challenged and supported in their progress
Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to ensure every student reaches their potential
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and motivated to achieve
Prepare students for GCSE examinations, using tailored strategies to support individual learning needs
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop innovative teaching approached and share best practices
Participate in department meetings, CPD sessions, and parent’s evenings as needed
Key Requirements:
A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status
The ability to teach to GCSE standard
Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement
Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners
