An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic leader to join a highly reputable Multi Academy Trust as Vice Principal (Behaviour and Attitudes) at a thriving secondary school in South Bristol.
This is a pivotal role for a passionate and strategic leader who is committed to fostering a culture of high expectations, respect, and inclusion. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and maintaining outstanding standards of behaviour, engagement, and student welfare across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a whole-school behaviour strategy that promotes a safe, inclusive, and aspirational learning environment.
* Lead on behaviour, attitudes, and personal development, ensuring all students receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
* Drive high standards of attendance and punctuality, working closely with pastoral teams and external agencies.
* Provide professional leadership and support to staff in managing behaviour consistently and effectively.
* Engage with students, parents, and the wider school community to embed a culture of respect and responsibility.
* Monitor and evaluate behaviour and pastoral data to inform strategies for continuous improvement.
* Contribute to the strategic leadership of the school as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
Person Specification:
* Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a secondary school setting.
* A strong track record of driving improvements in behaviour, attitudes, and pastoral care.
* A deep understanding of safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students and staff.
* A commitment to the values and ethos of the Multi Academy Trust.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a record of successful teaching practice.
