Daily Rate: £83.85

About the Role:
We are seeking both full-time and part-time Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Cardiff. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, help nurture young minds, and kickstart your career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
* Assist the teacher in setting up and running daily classroom activities.
* Supervise students during playtimes and lunch breaks.
* Follow school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and structured environment.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students who need extra guidance and encouragement.
What We’re Looking For:
* Enthusiasm — A positive, energetic attitude that inspires students.
* Adaptability — Comfortable with flexibility and changing tasks throughout the day.
* Interpersonal Skills — A warm, friendly, and approachable personality.
* Requirements:
* No formal qualifications required — perfect for those without prior classroom experience.
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
* Experience working with children (e.g., volunteering, babysitting, sports coaching) is desirable but not essential.
* Enhanced DBS check (child workforce) — we can assist with this.
* EWC registration (Education Workforce Council).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
