My client is a Leading Construction and Civil Engineering Company.
They are presently delivering upgrade works to an RAF base in Northwest Wales and require an additional Site Engineer to support the timely delivery of the project.
The company will consider those seeking permanent or long term contract roles at this time.
The project comprises earthworks, drainage, runway resurfacing works and new runway lighting.
The project is valued at £20m + and is expected to run until the end of 2025.
Role Responsibility
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Site Engineer will comply and implement the companies Integrated Management System procedures and guidance and promote its implementation with the Project Team.
On a day to day basis, the responsibilities of the Site Engineer will include the following (not exhaustive):
1. Promoting and lead the site safety culture
2. Ensuring all works are carried out in a planned, controlled, and safe manner, in accordance with statutory regulations, current standards and the Company SHEQ standards
3. Recording any Near Misses on the Near Miss Cards
4. Reviewing Site Operations with Senior Engineer/Agents to ensure that any works being undertaken outside of the Contract Requirements are raised as EWN/NCE including those verbally instructed by Employer or Others
