We are looking for a Contract Company Secretary to support our client on an ongoing workstream for around 3 - 6 months. This is a part-time role supporting the team for 20 - 30 hours per month, 7 hours per week.
You will be required to attend the clients office in central London, at least once a month, so the ideal candidate will be based in a commutable distance to central London.
This role will be paid on a day rate via an Umbrella company.
The Role:
* Supporting the Board on legal and governance matters at strategic and operational levels.
* Ensuring compliance with financial and legal requirements, as well as maintaining a high standards of corporate governance.
* Administration of Board meetings and maintenance of corporate records.
* Maintaining and collating data for Board members.
Requirements:
* Experienced working in a legal environment.
* Effective leader with experience in Board meetings.
* Commercial, corporate, and company secretarial experience.
* A strong understanding of the laws that affect your areas of work.
