Digital Transformation Support Officer Band 3 (Fixed term)

The Digital Transformation Officer will support the Digital transformation team.
This role will involve:
* Taking and typing of minutes
* Organising meetings and workshops
* Diary management
* Administrative work such as completing spreadsheets or preparing documentation for meetings
* Updating the issues and risk log and supporting with other project documentation
The successful candidate should be highly motivated, have relevant experience and evidence of involvement in implementing change and projects. Good organisation and communication skills are essential. The candidate must be willing and able to travel between all Trust sites.
Main duties of the job
This role will support digital transformation work which is delivering change initiatives such as the EPR and Enabling Technology projects, which involves:
* Programme/project and department administration support.
* Taking and typing of minutes, agendas and liaising with Chairpersons.
* Organising meetings and workshops.
* File and retrieve all programme and project documentation.
* Updating the issues and risk logs for projects.
* Stock ordering and ensuring delivery to correct teams.
Person Specification
Previous Experience
* Working knowledge of using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
* Working knowledge of Email and Internet usage.
* Experience of agenda preparation and minute taking.
* Experience of organising meetings and events.
* Evidence of working within a team.
* Experience of working in a previous administration role.
* Experience of administrative duties such as photocopying, sending and receiving faxes & processing stationery orders.
* Experience of maintaining databases.
* Experience of working on providing administration support for projects.
* Working within an IT environment.
* Experience of financial administration such as raising orders, invoicing, and bookkeeping.
* Knowledge and experience of the PRINCE 2 methodology.
* Experience of using & maintaining a Learning Management System.
* Experience of working on a help desk.
* Previous NHS experience in primary or secondary care.
* Knowledge of strategic developments in ICT within the NHS, particularly the NPfIT.
Qualifications
* 4 GCSE Grade C or above to include Maths and English Language or equivalent qualification.
* Trained in NVQ Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent experience.
* ECDL or equivalent experience.
* RSA Level I or equivalent experience.
* Pitman or equivalent shorthand qualification to 60wpm.
* RSA Level II or equivalent professional advanced typing/keyboard/word processing qualification.
* Good inter-personal and communication skills.
* Ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* To ensure confidentiality of client and staff data.
* Organised methodical approach.
* Knowledge of Microsoft suite including MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Awareness and Knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.
* Ability to evidence/demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with the Trust framework.
