This is a permanent full-time role, working 37 hours per week. Day to day duties of the role
* Develop positive working relationships and liaise regularly with curriculum staff, HMPPS etc to meet learning needs of prison population.
* Work collaboratively with the curriculum team to identify and support teaching, learning and assessment activities.
* Extend learning and literacy with the curriculum team by implementing / supporting reading and learning experiences across the prison.
* Develop an outstanding learning experience that is flexible and responsive to the needs of the learners., HMP Eastwood Park is a closed women's prison located in South Gloucestershire. The prison is dedicated to creating a safe and educational environment for women, equipping them with essential skills to enhance their reintegration into society and reduce the likelihood of reoffending. The prison offers a diverse range of subjects, including English, maths, cleaning and recycling, ICT, beauty, customer service, hospitality, and art, enabling residents to gain valuable skills which can be used in employment upon release. Our Education Department supports over 360 women, ranging from Entry Level 1 up to full degree programs, ensuring every individual can achieve their educational aspirations.
Good level of technical ability and competent user of technology with Level 2 IT Qualification (or higher).
