Our Client is a large Investment Management company that invests on behalf of private clients. They are an entrepreneurial firm with exciting growth prospects.
The Role:
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of intermediary relationships that consist of Wealth Managers, Financial Advisors, Financial Planners & their clients.
The Relationship Manager Role involves extensive contact with private clients & their wealth managers, developing business support relationships and taking responsibility for the accurate administration of their business with the firm alongside retention of the portfolio & managing to growth targets in both client acquisition, AUM & revenue.
Providing regular reporting to clients & their wealth managers of changes within portfolios & performance, etc.
Managing a book of clients to ensure growth achieved in both AUM & overall revenue/profitability of the book & ensuring the client experience & the firm value maintained.
Getting an understanding of the business of the prospective wealth managers, & to develop the wealth managers’ own understanding of the benefits and potential for them in providing business to the Investment Management firm.
The Relationship Manager Role will involve Presenting to Wealth Managers and Producing individually tailored investment proposals for the wealth managers to reflect the proposition discussed with them.
Converting such prospective wealth managers into fully signed up wealth managers of the firm, with specific plans agreed with them in order to gain the maximum appropriate business from their client base.
Providing clients with reviews of existing investment portfolios, often producing a detailed written review & proposal - taking into account a client’s investment aims, attitude to risk and tax situation.
Inputting and maintaining data on the firm’s client relationship management systems to monitor prospects, generate proposals & open accounts.
Taking responsibility to ensure all client & wealth manager communication is accurate, appropriate and delivered at the right time, including emails, letters & proposals .
Receiving requests from intermediary clients - queries arising from the wealth practises, Financial planners & their clients.
Managing ongoing investment suitability for the portfolio of clients they are responsible for.
The Candidate:
The individual MUST be Level 6/7 qualified (PCIAM)
Must have experience of working with Intermediary firms - Wealth Managers, IFA’s, Financial planners
Knowledge of discretionary investment management administration, including tax wrappers.
Focussed on Relationship Management.
A passion for business development and building relationships within the investment management market.
