We are looking to appoint an Apprentice Environmental Health Officer who will gain experience of working across environmental health disciplines whilst working within the Environmental Health Residential Team.
The Council will train and develop the successful candidate on the job whilst supporting them in gaining a Level 6 (degree) integrated apprenticeship qualification.
As we are looking at appointing someone new to this area of work, the starting salary will be at the bottom end of the scale. This will increase as your experience and studies progress.

This role is likely to be on a Flexible Contract as defined by our Agile Working Policy. The minimum frequency for in-office attendance will be two or three times per week, however it could be more frequent based on the demands of the service. We therefore expect candidates to reside within a commutable distance from Number One Market Street in Nelson, Lancashire.
