Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working alongside a manufacturing business, recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a 9-month fixed-term contract due to a busy period. This role offers the potential to become a permanent member of the team and involves working within a supportive and close-knit finance team. Key Responsibilities: Monitor purchase orders and check outstanding purchase orders. Process daily transactions on both the purchase and sales ledger. Reconcile supplier and bank statements. Prepare payment runs weekly. Set up supplier and customer accounts. Liaise with other departments to ensure discrepancies are resolved. Qualifications & Experience: Experience in a similar position. AAT part-qualified/qualified – advantageous not essential. Proficiency in finance systems and Excel – advantageous not essential.
