Key Responsibilities
* We are looking for a passionate Product Manager who will act as an ambassador for their products, developing a profound understanding of our customer and end-user needs. Working within an agile environment, you will inspire the software delivery engineering team through high-value deliverables, communicating the vision effectively.
* It will be your responsibility to work with the Lead Product Manager to forge your vision for your products and drive the business goals through the team.
* CDL expects its Product Managers to be the experts and lead the business in a product-led culture to help achieve its lofty goals to expand our UK & global footprints and help our customers win through technology. Working within the Connected Services area, you will work with a highly skilled team of engineers on CDL's growing API offerings connecting web front-end products to our back-office infrastructure, manage the interface with the insurance aggregator platforms, and drive new innovative ways to create value for CDL and our clients.
* We are looking for someone with strong commercial awareness and experience working with cloud-based solutions in a Software as a Service environment. As a Product Manager, you will build your product roadmap to align with the company strategy. Product Managers at CDL have the autonomy to develop their products and own the commercial success; they manage the products' profit & loss and work closely with the commercial teams to deliver the best value for CDL and our customers.
* Within the digital core product team, we are looking for a candidate that can move our connected services products forward. The successful candidate will be working with our development teams building out our API suite, Apache Camel Middleware, amongst other technologies, as well as identifying new innovative products that deliver value outcomes for both CDL and our clients.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
* Hold a track record of delivering product-led development in an Agile environment.
* Experience in a similar role working as a Product Owner/Manager within a software delivery and agile environment.
* Experience working with cloud-based solutions such as AWS.
* It is highly desirable to have experience working with web applications, Apache Camel, and APIs.
* Excellent communication skills – Client-facing experience.
* Knowledge and understanding of numerous agile approaches and how they affect your delivery.
* An excellent self-organiser with experience in getting work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
Beneficial or areas for learning:
* First-level Scrum Product Owner certification (PSPO I, CSPO) or equivalent.
Salary & Benefits
The salary for the role of Product Manager pays up to £60,000 p.a., providing a fantastic opportunity for career progression through CDL.
