Brownhills Motorhomes are currently seeking a Parts Advisor. We are the UK's largest Motorhome dealer and one stop destination for all Motorhome requirements. We sell new and used motorhomes, parts and accessories, undertake motorhome services/repairs and have an onsite bistro and leisure facilities. We employ around 210 staff at our 13 acre site.
Job Description:
As part of a large team the position is fast paced and one which would require working autonomously at times. You will be advising technicians and customers on parts they might need for their vehicle, duties include:
1. Checking availability of parts on the computerised stock record.
2. Getting parts from the storage areas or if out of stock ordering them from the supplier.
3. Booking the parts out using computerised system.
4. Ordering from the supplier in a timely manner.
5. Booking parts delivered and updating records using computerised stock record.
6. Putting away stock in the correct location.
7. Ensuring our stock is always secure and well maintained.
8. Filing delivery notes.
9. Printing diary and checking parts for the service.
10. Any other tasks that are deemed necessary for the efficient running of the department.
11. Holiday cover as required.
Skills Required:
The successful candidate will be confident with a cheerful nature, punctual and have the ability to meet strict deadlines. You must have good IT skills and possess excellent communication skills. You will need to have very good time management skills, be able to follow specific instructions and manage a busy schedule. As a parts advisor you are required to sell Motorhome parts and accessories.
Hours of Work:
The working pattern is a rolling shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off; 6.00 am to 6.00 pm.
