We are looking for a number of Category Specialists who have some previous experience of working in a Buying/Procurement role, and would like the opportunity to move their career forward in a busy and diverse environment.
In an ideal world, you will have experience in categories such as IT or Business/Corporate services but you will definitely be confident when engaging with Stakeholders and be curious and solution focussed.
Your role will include:
* Working with the Category and sourcing team to support on the delivery of category strategies and develop and implement sub-category strategies.
* Gathering and collating customer requirements.
* Developing working relationships across the organisation that allow early involvement of procurement in any external third party spend required.
* Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement, identifying improvements in ways of working and feeding these back to the Senior Category & Sourcing Manager.
Hybrid working with 2 - 3 days on site. Good pension + benefits.
