Trainee Traffic Management Operative - Gloucestershire and surrounding area

Job Details:
1. You’ll be challenged with rewarding assignments, ensuring the safe delivery of traffic management for our wider team.
2. Upholding our traffic management Policies and Procedures and working within the framework of Health and Safety Legislation.
3. Setting up safe traffic management sites, in line with the National Highways Sector Schemes 12D, 12AB and 12C and relevant regulations and guidelines.
4. Undertaking risk assessments in line with traffic management policy.
5. Trainee Traffic Management Operatives will be part of a team, initially in one of our training squads and then moving over to working with a team leader to provide you with mentoring and support on a day-to-day basis.
6. Traffic Management Operatives will be responsible for a variety of tasks including risk assessing, planning, implementation and managing traffic sites.
7. You will be working outside in all weathers, so can't be too afraid of getting a little wet. If you are interested in joining the growing team, we just ask that you are a team player, dynamic, able to manage your own workload, and willing to learn!
8. A driving license is essential due to the nature of this role.
9. Flexibility to work overtime, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
