Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Global Vertical Solution for Logistics holds the primary responsibility of shaping and implementing a comprehensive vertical strategy within the Perishables sector, ensuring alignment with industry trends and supply chain management best practices.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Vertical Strategy Development: Formulating and implementing a comprehensive vertical strategy, focusing on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management within the Perishables sector.
2. End-to-End Solutions Expertise: Analyzing logistics data, identifying optimization opportunities, and developing fit-for-purpose end-to-end solutions.
3. Key Account Management Support: Supporting key account management by providing insights for end-to-end solutions tailored to customers needs.
4. Thought Leadership and Training: Promoting thought leadership within the vertical by conducting training sessions and organizing customer events.
5. Team Management: Managing and leading an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring development against aligned goals.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
1. 10+ years of hands-on experience directly related to the responsibilities outlined in the job description.
2. Bachelors degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
3. Extensive experience (10+ years) in logistics and supply chain management, focusing on logistics strategies within the perishables industry.
4. Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective logistics and supply chain strategies.
5. Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to work with large datasets related to perishables supply chain operations.
6. Track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
9. Experience in implementing Lean methodology and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
