About the Tasmanian State Service
The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.
As a member of the Midlands Multi-Purpose Health Centre (MMPHC), the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator is responsible for coordinating leisure and lifestyle programs for the permanent Residential Aged Care residents of the MMPHC.
The Role:
Consult with residents, carers, health care providers, and community members in planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating quality individual and group programs.
Details of Appointment:
Fixed term, casual position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar casual vacancies.
Salary:
$73,811 to $79,779 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Plus 25% Casual Loading - Equivalent of $46.51 to $50.26 per hour.
Desirable Criteria:
* Completion of a recognised course in Leisure and Lifestyle and/or equivalent qualification/s
* Current Driver's Licence
* Current First Aid Certificate
