Job Title: Complex Care Assistant

Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Day & Night shifts available)

Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex health needs in the Surrey area. This role involves supporting clients with varying medical conditions, including but not limited to neurological disorders, spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, and palliative care.
As a Complex Care Assistant, you will work closely with healthcare professionals, families, and clients to ensure their well-being, comfort, and dignity at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing 1:1 complex care support in clients' homes
* Assisting with personal care, mobility, and medication administration
* Managing ventilators, tracheostomies, PEG feeding, and catheter care (training provided if required)
* Monitoring and responding to changes in the client's condition
* Promoting independence and enhancing quality of life
* Ensuring accurate record-keeping and documentation
* Supporting emotional well-being and companionship
* Adhering to care plans and following protocols set by medical professionals
Requirements:
* Minimum 6 months of complex care experience (preferred)
* Valid Right to Work in the UK
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential)
* Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilators, or PEG feeding (preferred, but training provided)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A caring, compassionate, and patient nature
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
