Job Overview This is an exciting opportunity to take a senior role in the West Essex Hospital at Home and Urgent Community Response Service. The post holder will work with the senior management team to provide comprehensive, operational, staffing and budget management. They will be responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the Hospital at Home (HatH) and Urgent Community Response Service. This will include the delivery of operational performance targets (finance, activity, workforce and quality/safety) along with the achievement of service objectives and compliance with local and national standards relevant to the service area. As a member of the leadership team, the post holder will share responsibility for the implementation of all Trust policies and the service improvement agenda within their area. As Matron, they will also provide clinical and professional guidance within areas of responsibility regarding operational issues. This will include being the Lead for Utilisation, Admission process, Discharge Planning and Length of Stay management. The post holder will also be expected to load on the investigation of complaints as directed by the senior management team.
