As of the date of this job advertisement, the anticipated base hourly range for this role is $25/hour (undergrad) – $30/hour (rising senior).
Responsibilities:
1. Technology Integration and Data Quality Analysis: Work with various real estate-focused software suites to upgrade technology tools and implement new systems for robust data.
2. Improving Residents’ Lives: Collaborate with the Preservation team and partners to renovate properties, focusing on resident experience during renovations.
3. Assist with data triangulation and storytelling behind the data.
4. Employee Education and Advancement: Assist in selecting training topics and administering training related to Tax Credits.
5. Prepare periodic reports and analysis, including reporting to Blackstone on renovation projects.
6. Develop and utilize business intelligence tools and dashboards in Power BI.
7. Assist with cross-functional projects and analysis across the organization.
8. Perform special ad hoc projects and analyses for department heads and the Blackstone asset management team.
Qualifications:
1. Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, real estate, economics, or business with a finance/accounting concentration.
2. Minimum GPA of 3.5.
3. Working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint; advanced knowledge of MS Excel preferred.
4. Interest in housing and social equity.
5. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. A commitment to doing things differently and making the world a little bit better.
9. A naturally collaborative nature.
10. Ability to work in a full-time capacity for 10 weeks, summer 2025.
