Role: Civil Engineering Lead - Development Infrastructure
Location: Old Street, London
Type: Full Time, Permanent, Hybrid.
We're looking for a Civil Engineering Lead in Manchester!
This is a role that would fit perfectly for someone who is between Senior and Associate level, with a background in surface & foulwater drainage design, and highways for developments.

Role & Company:
The developments you may help bring to life include but are not limited to:
1. High profile city centre office and mixed-use redevelopments;
2. Large rural estate new builds;
3. Educational and art institutions and museums.
You will be joining and leading a newly-established infrastructure team in a high-spec office, with plenty of support from one of the largest infrastructure teams in the capital, collaboratively. Meanwhile, the civil infrastructure team will grow around you with you as the technical lead and project-solving decision maker.

Role:
You will be joining one of the most critically acclaimed development-led civil engineering teams in the UK as a Senior or Associate Civil Engineer, and take project ownership for surface & foul water drainage and highways schemes in for a variety of high-profile developments, in the capital and beyond, including city centre office and mixed-use redevelopments, large rural estate new builds, education and commercial sites.
Responsibilities:
Production of engineering designs to support new developments, which may include:
* Preliminary and detailed design development of surface & foul water drainage;
* Hydraulic modelling using InfoDrainage;
* Use of drawing design tools AutoCAD and Revit Viewer;
* Management of Engineers and Technicians;
* Liaison with Water Authorities, LLFA teams and statutory bodies;
* Providing internal and external design best practice guidance;
* Technical quality assurance;
* Input into bid development.
Other responsibilities may include:
* Project ownership and management;
* Collaboration with stakeholders, architects, and engineers;
* Data analysis and research.
Requirements:
Working knowledge of the above, attained through experience at a UK consultancy.
* Knowledge of related software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage or Causeway Flow.
