Position Overview
We are seeking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our well-established team. The post is permanent, 35 hours a week, Term Time only + 5 Inset days, with an additional SEN point as part of your salary.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant must be able to work as part of a team and use initiative when appropriate. You will be expected to work with pupils of all ages and undertake all activities as required during their time at the school.
You will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the class in managing pupils. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the normal teaching area, including swimming and riding for the disabled.
