Join to apply for the Head of Finance role at The Story Museum
The Story Museum is looking for a part-time Head of Finance to be the Museum's number wizard, managing the financial and reporting cycle and providing accurate and timely data and analysis in support of our dynamic, sustainable business model. As an active member of the Senior Management Team, the Head of Finance will contribute to strategic discussion and planning around the charity's ongoing impact evaluation and organisation-wide projects to deliver its mission to enrich lives through stories.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive the creation of the annual operational budget and financial forecasting for the charity and its subsidiary trading company.
2. Provide timely management accounts and manage restricted project funds and capital budgets as required.
3. Be responsible for payroll, VAT returns, and statutory regulatory reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate will need to be a full or part-qualified accountant (CIPFA, CIMA, ACA or ACCA or equivalent qualification) with wide-ranging experience of financial management in a complex organisation with multiple income streams.
Contract: Permanent, part-time, 0.6 FTE
