Due to the rapid growth and continuous success here at CLP, we are delighted to confirm that we are currently recruiting for a D2D/Voids Supervisor to join our team based in Widnes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations (such as the National Electrical Code, IEE Wiring Regulations, or similar). Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to legal standards and safety codes.
* Supervision of Electrical Work: Oversee and support the work of electricians and other technical staff. Review the quality of electrical installations and approve work before certification. Assign tasks to electricians based on their skill level and the complexity of the job.
* Testing and Certification: Carry out electrical testing and verification on completed work. Certify electrical installations and issue appropriate documents (e.g., Electrical Installation Condition Reports, Minor Works Certificates). Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained.
* Safety Management: Implement and enforce health and safety regulations on-site. Perform risk assessments and ensure the use of proper protective equipment (PPE). Investigate and report any safety incidents or hazards.
* Training and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices. Ensure continuous professional development (CPD) for the team, staying updated on the latest standards and practices.
* Liaison with Management and Clients: Communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other contractors to ensure seamless project completion.
Skills and Qualifications:
* C&G 2382 - 2330-01 Level 2 & C&G 2382 - 2330-7 Level 3
* C&G 2391 - 2393/2394 – 2395
* SMSTS
* Minimum of three years’ experience working within social housing
* Affective cost management
* Previous supervisory/managerial experience
* Minimum of three years’ experience working on voids & D2D in social housing
* Good communication skills
* Good understanding of NHF schedule of rates
* Good IT knowledge
* Driving Licence required
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £34,552.00-£46,722.00 per year
