Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, London Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £120 Per day Benefits: PAYE & CPD Job Duties: Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom Assist the teacher in delivering individualised education plans Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Support students with personal care and emotional well-being Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor student progress Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Relevant SEN qualifications or experience Education: Level 2 or higher qualification in Teaching Assistance or Special Education Experience: Prior experience working with children with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different learning styles and needs Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents Strong organisational and time management skills Empathy and patience when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Mental Health First Aid training Working Conditions: Work hours may vary based on school schedules Requires standing, walking, and assisting students throughout the day May involve working with students who have challenging behaviours All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
