The SAP EWM Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) system, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency within our automotive manufacturing and distribution processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business requirements, and leverage their expertise to design, implement, and maintain SAP EWM solutions. This position is responsible for ensuring and maintaining a high level of support corresponding to the team leads in all activities of the department and ensuring active participation in the daily business of his/her functional responsibilities. The candidate should be analytical, well-educated, knowledgeable, experienced, and motivated with a strong IT background, work ethic, and integrity. They will become a key part of the IT-SAP Team to implement and provide adequate support for EWM modules to SAP users across North and South America regions. The candidate will suggest and implement improvements for EWM processes using SAP ERP S/4HANA and provide training to users if needed or requested. This role requires business knowledge, IT background, SAP concepts, and good communication skills.
Your Responsibilities
1. Project Management and Implementation:
• Lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP EWM solutions.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, team members, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project completion.
2. Requirement Analysis and Solution Design:
• Engage with clients to understand their warehouse management needs and gather business requirements.
• Design and develop solutions to meet these requirements using SAP EWM.
• Conduct gap analysis and propose enhancements or new functionalities.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead the local SAP AMS team members.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
4. System Configuration and Customization:
• Configure SAP EWM settings according to the business needs.
• Develop custom functionalities and enhancements using ABAP or other relevant technologies.
• Ensure integration with other SAP modules like SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP TM (Transportation Management).
5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.
• Oversee unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify and resolve defects and issues in a timely manner.
6. Training and Support:
• Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders to ensure they are proficient in using SAP EWM.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for any issues that arise post-implementation.
• Develop user manuals and documentation.
7. Process Optimization:
• Continuously monitor warehouse operations and processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Utilize analytics and reporting tools to provide insights and drive data-driven decisions.
8. Compliance and Security:
• Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect warehouse data and processes.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
9. Stakeholder Communication:
• Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
• Present project outcomes, improvements, and strategic plans to senior management.
10. Innovation and Technology Trends:
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in warehouse management and SAP technologies.
• Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the SAP EWM functionality and performance.
Who we are looking for
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP EWM, ABAP understanding and integration with other SAP modules. Competency in Microsoft Office tools like Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint & Visio. Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred.
* Leadership: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Project Management: Ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
* Domain Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules. Monitor and test all SAP EWM processes to ensure solutions are not impacted by other module when upgrades and support patches get implemented or if the process changes in any other module.
Your preferred qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
* Must have knowledge of EWM module in SAP and have a good understanding of manufacturing business processes. Nice to have interface knowledge with other modules such as SD, MM, WM, and PP.
* Must be able to communicate in English. Working knowledge of other languages is a plus.
* Minimum 5 years of SAP working experience.
* Experience in Tier-1 Automotive Industry is a strong plus.
