Job summary An opening has arisen for an operational General Manager to lead, in partnership with the Clinical Directors and Head of Nursing, multiple service lines including Anaesthetics, Critical Care and Theatres. The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, with a proven track record of delivery of complex projects. They willhave experience of working at a senior level in an acute setting and will report directly to the COO/Deputy CEO. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe day to day running of services within the service line, delivery of the financial target and ensuring business continuity and resilient service delivery, supported by robust operational and capacity planning. It is an exciting time to be joining the Trust as many services including Theatres and Critical Care will be moving into the brand new Acute Services Block this Autumn.
