Why Join us To help manage and maintain a market leading nationwide network of Drying, Fire Damage, Building Contractors and other Specialist suppliers. Required to provide administrative support to the Supply Chain Manager and wider Surveying team, acting as an integral member of the team, and operating across a broad range of tasks both in and out of the office. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities - What you will do: In conjunction with the Supply Chain Manager (SCM) and Claims Management Team, identify weaknesses in the Building Claims networks (geographical gaps, poor performing suppliers etc.), develop and maintain a plan to rectify identified issues and to action once approved Design procedures to identify quality prospective suppliers for the networks and manage those prospects from initial point of contact through due diligence and ultimately contract or decline in a timely manner Manage and maintain the supplier information and tracking system. Report any concerns to SCM or the Commercial Director in advance of qualifying supplier requirements Engage with Supplier Liaison Team (SLT) to ensure supply chain is fit for purpose and meeting KPI’s Ensure that external suppliers attend the Claims Philosophy, Policy Application, use of software and Health & Safety compliance training programme Deal with escalated claim issues (via Claims Management Team) that arise due to failures of: Building and Drying and Fire Damage Contractors, or any other network supplier in your care Maintain and develop a suite of MI reports to monitor the performance of all network Contractors In conjunction with SCM (and where applicable, members of the Claims Management Team) develop and manage the network of Buildings related suppliers through monthly/quarterly/bi-annual/annual meetings. The key focus being the management of each supplier to deliver market-leading results for claims cost control and customer service Attend contractor / supplier meetings relating to new and renewing contracts Investigate and resolve customer complaints relating to alleged shortfalls in the quality of services (workmanship or other) from a network contractor or preferred Buildings supplier. This may necessitate visits to customers’ properties with all interested parties present Support and assist the SLT during holiday and surge periods as required Manage own diary, arrange customer site visit appointments and hotel accommodation for travel where applicable To undertake any individual or team task or activity reasonably requested and in line with the company values. Person Specification Experience & Knowledge At least 2 years of experience in a Customer Service Role in an office environment Previous experience managing a network supply chain would be advantageous Skills & Abilities Good spoken and written communication skills Ability to bring first class Contractors to the network Excellent organisational skills Calm but assertive telephone manner when dealing with suppliers Ability to design and develop with effective implementation skills Conflict management and strength in negotiation High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines PC literate with excellent administrative skills Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary Ability and willingness to work away from base, as required.
