Head of Events - London - 50k plus bonus
My client is a leading contract caterer and they are currently recruiting for a Head of Events for one of their flagship venues in London.
As Head of Events, your main focuses will be the following:
1. Manage an events team of 4 including 2 Event Managers, 1 Event Supervisor and an Event Head Chef
2. Liaising with the client of the venue continuously looking to grow the relationship at all times
3. To operationally and strategically lead on large events
4. To manage catering logistics including event file handling, event briefing sheet and service plans
5. To manage orders of equipment, beverages and staffing
6. To ensure all enquiries and client feedback are managed professionally and in a timely manner
7. To continuously work towards improving sales and service
8. Provide appropriate guidance and support to all direct reports
9. Leading and motivating the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training and mentoring
10. Financial and budget management including forecasting, cost control and forward planning
For this Head of Events role, I am looking for a candidate who has:
1. Event Management experience within either contract catering, event catering, hotels or venues
2. Experience of managing large events
3. Understanding of how to coordinate, plan and deliver an event
4. Exceptional attention to detail
5. Top level client account management skills
6. The desire to grow with an exciting, forward thinking company
