Support Worker - Young People's Housing Service - St Albans Full time - 37.5 hours per week - £25,350 pa We provide high-quality care and support to separated migrant children aged 16-24 who are homeless, assisting them to move on as part of our YPHS service. About the Role You will empower young people to lead independent and fulfilling lives with the support of staff, social workers, and local authority partners. Your positive approach will help them develop independent living skills like cooking, cleaning, and budgeting, enabling them to move into their own accommodation. You will also facilitate access to work, educational opportunities, and healthcare services. This challenging but rewarding role allows you to significantly impact a vulnerable young person's life. We provide a 24-hour service, requiring you to work shifts as part of a rota system, including weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins. A driver's license and access to a vehicle are also necessary.
