Job Summary
Salary: Starting from £32,000 plus (Depending on Experience)
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Location: Rotation between all three sites: 24 Portland Place (W1B 1LU), 55 Moorgate (EC2R 6BH) and 33 Grosvenor Place (SW1X 7HY)
Contract: Full-Time & Fixed-Term (End Date: 31st October 2025)

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Radiology Department Assistant Supervisor to join our Imaging Team. This is a full-time role with the following shift patterns: Monday – Sunday, between the hours of 08:00-20:00 including both on-call and overtime requirements.

The Radiology Department Assistant Supervisor (RDA Supervisor) will work as part of a team, under the overall guidance of the Radiology Manager, to ensure the highest standard of service to patients, consultants and visitors. You may be assigned to work in a variety of imaging locations across CCL, assist other imaging modalities and/or clinical services and assist with procedures on adult and geriatric patients and performs patient assessment within the scope of practice. You will work collaboratively with CCL Radiologists and modality lead radiographers to prioritise and organise schedules.
What will your duties include?
1. Assist in developing and maintaining staff schedules.
2. Keep staff informed of changes and address scheduling issues that arise.
3. Coordinate and participate in the training of new employees and staff.
4. Provide suggestions and recommendations regarding supplies and equipment.
5. Support Radiographers and Radiologists in the course of their work; liaising with patients and secretarial staff; ensure smooth, efficient service to patients and customers.
6. Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients and their relatives or carers throughout their journey.
7. Greet patients in a welcoming friendly manner, book patient exams, confirming records of the patient details are accurate and up to date ensuring amendments are made on electronic systems where necessary in real time.
8. Assist patients in preparation and during imaging procedures, helping them to change, preparing rooms, organising patient list.
9. Other duties assigned.
What we need from you?
1. Previous healthcare experience in Imaging Department.
2. RIS/PACS knowledge.
3. General standard of education to GCSE including English essential.
4. Qualified Assistant Practitioner is desirable.
5. NVQ level 3 or equivalent is desirable.
6. Diploma/Certificate in Healthcare Support Services is desirable.
