The successful candidate will drive the business forward as Commercial Director, developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. This role offers a generous basic salary of £65,000-£85,000 and flexible working options.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and develop our commercial strategy, aligning with the company's vision for growth and expansion.
* Report directly to the Managing Director, providing regular updates on progress and performance.
* Implement a strategic plan to meet and exceed sales targets, identifying new revenue opportunities and managing high-value client relationships.
* Mentor and support the project management team, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective sales processes.
* Develop relationships with existing clients to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, contributing to the company's long-term success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated success in a senior commercial role within the event industry, with a proven track record of achieving and surpassing revenue targets.
* Strong technical expertise in lighting, video, and sound, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience in driving and managing the sales process, with a strong understanding of CRM software and MS Office tools.
* Strategic self-driven sales hunter with exceptional networking abilities, able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
