Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Generator Engineer / Generator Technician required to join a leading supplier of generators and critical power equipment. The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Generator Engineer / Generator Engineer shall carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment. Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Generator Engineer / Generator Technician will ideally have experience in preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment. Package £35,000 - £40,000 Company Van Phone and Laptop Overtime 6% Pension Responsibilities: Carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical/mechanical critical power equipment. Maintain and service critical power supply equipment and associated electrical equipment, mainly generators in a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites across the Southwest. Carry out load bank testing, site surveys, inspections, fault finding, repairs and testing of generator sets and associated generator equipment. Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works. Liaise with various engineering departments. Full product training provided. Based near Runcorn and happy to cover surrounding areas. Requirements: Experience as a Generator Engineer, Generator Technician, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Power Generation Engineer, or similar Skilled in technical report writing with attention to detail A technical electrical/ mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous. Full UK driving license Flexible for Overtime/part of the on-call rota. Based near Runcorn and happy to cover surrounding areas. Ability to obtain client clearances i.e: police, MOD ADZN1_UKTJ
