My client who are an ACS accredited company have been successfully operating since 1996. They have grown organically over the years and have a healthy year on year increase in turnover. They are looking to continue this expansion over the next couple of years and are currently looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help develop and grow the business. The role will be based in Derby (although predominantly Midlands based, they do have contracts elsewhere) the role is a remote working hybrid position with customer site visits as required. hey are looking for an industry experienced sales professional (at least two years) to generate sales of Manned Guarding, Keyholding, Alarm Response, Mobile Patrols, CCTV and Alarm Installations. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for aspects such as:
* Identify key opportunities and clients
* Lead Generation
* Setting your own appointments
* Brand and Marketing awareness using social media and channels such as LinkedIn
* Utilising existing customer relationships to obtain new business
* Building and maintaining strong relationships
* Security Surveys and Quote Generation
* Tender Submissions
* Customer Meetings
* Prepare and deliver power point presentations
* Industry Networking
Individual qualities and experience
* As Business Development Manager you will ideally have at least 2+ years’ experience selling a service solution ideally security services/man guarding solutions.
* You will ideally be based in the East Midlands
* You will have a warm, outgoing and engaging personality
* have a positive attitude and be determined and resilient.
* You should have a keen eye for details and you should know what it takes to work within a dedicated sales environment
* You will ideally have a proven track record of sales from within the Manned Guarding and Security Services arena or solution service.
* Understanding buying/sales processes and bid project management.
* You will be driven to succeed and have experience in cold calling, lead generation, and understand the tender and bid process to win new business
* Able to manage your time and diary effectively
* Able to achieve agreed and set annual targets
* Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
* Good IT skills with Microsoft products and outlook
* Driving Licence and access to a car
Basic salary £35k-£40k, commission, mileage allowance, company pension, 28 days paid holiday and on-site parking
Commission will only be paid after the first £300,000 of new business turnover had been generated and is payable at 1.5% on all new business profits where a minimum of 10% profit margin has been achieved.
