Are you a passionate and dedicated Physical Education teacher with a desire to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Physical Education Teacher to join a supportive SEMH school in Okehampton. Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH challenges.
* Foster positive relationships and create a safe, supportive learning environment that promotes emotional well-being and resilience.
* Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to develop personalized learning plans and provide holistic support for students.
* Support students in developing social skills, self-regulation, and physical health through the curriculum.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Experience teaching Physical Education, preferably in a SEN or SEMH setting.
* Passion for SEMH: A genuine commitment to supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Adaptability: A flexible, patient, and resilient approach to teaching and supporting students.
* Strong Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
