About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automation Sales Manager to join our clients growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a passion for automation and intralogistics to spearhead sales growth in the Midlands or South of the UK.
You will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of cutting-edge automation solutions, including:
1. Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS).
2. Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs).
3. Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
4. Conveyor Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Business Development – Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to identify and secure new business opportunities.
2. Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients across industries such as warehousing, manufacturing, e-commerce, and logistics.
3. Solution Selling – Consult with clients to identify their automation needs and present tailored solutions that add value to their operations.
4. Project Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and project management, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
5. Market Intelligence – Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in automation, robotics, or intralogistics.
2. Strong technical understanding of AGVs, AMRs, conveyors, sortation systems, and ASRS.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
4. Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and meet/exceed targets.
5. Flexibility to travel across the region as required.
