Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will support students with special educational needs, helping to create a positive and effective learning environment. This role requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN. Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities. Support classroom teachers in managing student behaviour and promoting engagement. Help to create and maintain an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment. Monitor and report on students' progress and development. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student. Requirements: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable. Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of students. A valid driving license and the ability to commute to our school near Battle. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent) are advantageous but NOT essential.
